Diode Laser Concepts (DLC) is pleased to announce its acquisition by Pacific Lasertec (PLT). This exciting milestone marks a new chapter for DLC as we expand our ability to support customers through enhanced engineering, manufacturing, and operational resources.
By joining the Pacific Lasertec family, DLC strengthens its position as a trusted engineering partner for OEM laser solutions while maintaining its commitment to delivering innovative, high-performance products for demanding applications.

“DLC is a trusted engineering partner to its customers, with a strong track record of delivering complex and innovative solutions for high-performance applications,” said Blake Fennell, CEO of Pacific Lasertec. “This partnership expands our product portfolio and strengthens our engineering capabilities, positioning us to deliver enhanced value to our customers.”
“We are excited to be welcomed into the Pacific Lasertec family,” said Mike Robinson, CEO of DLC, who will continue with the business. “By combining our strengths and leveraging the combined customer base, we are better positioned to develop and manufacture OEM-optimized laser-based systems that meet the needs of demanding applications.”
As Pacific Lasertec’s first strategic acquisition under the sponsorship of Pfingsten Partners, this partnership represents an important step in expanding capabilities, accelerating innovation, and strengthening long-term customer support.
For our customers and partners, this transition means continued commitment to the engineering quality, responsiveness, and technical collaboration they have come to expect from Diode Laser Concepts — now supported by expanded capabilities and resources through the broader Pacific Lasertec organization.
